About The Practice           »

The practice was established in 2001, and specialises in the design of new architecture that integrates the quality, longevity and humanity of traditional design and construction to create new and exciting environments; combined with the careful reuse, evolution and repair of historic and existing buildings.

Prior to establishing the practice Lucy Sheppard worked with larger practices creating works at: Buckingham Palace, Somerset House, Gonville & Caius College Cambridge, Trafalgar Square, the Gilbert Collection at Somerset House, The Albert Memorial & Admiralty Arch. Much of this work is creating new contemporary spaces within Listed Buildings, and ensuring the sensitive adaptation of historic fabric to the practical functions and requirements of modern uses.
